Info FA sur les prochaines préco FAC : 

 

The MANIACS BOX BACK TO THE FUTURE is still in approval, so we decided to use the titles GODZILLA 2014, GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS E1 + E2, and KONG: Skull Island for pre-orders within December 14 - 17.

 

If the BTTF MANIACS BOX is approved during December, we will deploy it to pre-orders in January 2021.

 

Other titles coming soon for pre-orders are DOCTOR STRANGE E1 + E2, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR E1 + E2, DOCTOR SLEEP E1 + 2, WIZARD OF OZ, ANNABELLE COMES HOME.

Ça fait 4 mois et 30 mails que j'essaie d'avoir juste un renseignement chez FA et je n'ai jamais eu de réponse 

 

Dernièrement j'ai envoyé qu'un mail pour dire que ma carte bleue ne passait pas et là j'ai eu un suivi client comme si j'étais Son Altesse Royale, le Prince Akeem de Zaminda.

Je discutais avec un espagnol sur Ebay qui a tous les Facs de 0 a aujourd'hui...y compris Wolf of Wall Street et ce qui est extrêmement rare, c'est celui ci :

Il y a quelques mois je l'aurais pris les yeux fermés même a 500 boules ( il le vend 240)  et lors de nos échanges par mails ,(je me doutais de sa réponse) il a eu la même réflexion que beaucoup de collectionneurs FA :

voici le dernier communiqué de Filmarena qui sort enfin du silence concernant la FAC Predator et le méga pb avec Disney ... le communiqué est encore pire que du foutage de gueule !

 

 

For the PREDATOR title, we are still waiting for the studio to finally confirm that we can start sending out the editions. Since communication is very slow or non-existent, which is also confirmed with other 20th Century Studios releases like THE LAST DUEL, they are very slow and unfortunately, this is also starting to show in the studio's reluctance to provide regular material. We dare to criticize this approach because it is retailers like Filmarena and others who have kept physical media sales afloat for a long time. And if some studios are no longer interested in these collaborations, it will be best if retailers get this information fairly and in front of their eyes. No hiding behind excuses and such. Earlier cooperation with the Fox studio was completely different than it is now, and it cannot currently be explained in any other way than the transition to the Disney studio, increased bureaucratic burden, and meaninglessly set criteria that do not correspond to specific m arket situations and customer requirements. Unfortunately, we cannot do more than this statement. How else to explain the situation when we have approved editions from an earlier time from the FOX studio, then the title goes under the DISNEY studio, which after minor corrections approve the title again, then asks to wait for the sending until it presents the PREY title and launches the Disney + channel and subsequently hardly responds to our communication. If this is an idea of future cooperation, then thank you, but we do not want to continue down this path. There are also studios where cooperation works, and we will focus on them, at least until we start to feel other signals.

 

As soon as we have any feedback from FOX/DISNEY, we will let you know. Together with the distributor, we are trying to negotiate the possibility of sending out at least separate E5 editions (steelbooks in jcards) in the first wave, but again we encounter communication that is very slow due to the strong bureaucratic apparatus at Disney.

 

We are currently not ordering more steelbooks for new titles from other studios and we are focusing on finishing work on older titles.

Attention .. nouveau mail de Filmarena, qui fait le point sur les différents studios et surtout sur la FAC Predator, et là c'est tout simplement honteux. 

Commençons par Predator :

 

"As for new information on the PREDATOR title, in 4Q last year we have been asked for an update, where the studio requested minor modifications to logos and copyrights, now unfortunately we are waiting again.

We have been confirmed to release all the editions, so we are not dealing with the fact that the editions cannot be issued, we are only dealing with the final adjustments.

Unfortunately, the communication of the Disney studio has been very slow for several years, and it is impossible to expect it to speed up since physical media is no longer a priority for this studio in regions outside the US.

So our plan is to finish the projects we have already announced and then wait for the studio's response as to whether it is interested in continuing the collaboration."

 

En clair, aucune communication entre FA & Disney, FA attend toujours l'autorisation de Disney pour expédier les editions. le problème est que Disney se concentre sur le streaming donc ils s'en tapent de la FAC.

Mais pire que tout, c'est la dernière phrase de FA qui précise qu'ils vont d'abord terminer leurs projets annoncés et ensuite attendre la réponse de Disney.

A ce niveau là, le bras de fer peut durer des années, puisque Disney s'en tape royalement et FA n'a aucun moyen de faire accélérer les choses, ou c'est ce qu'ils veulent nous faire croire.

Another studio that limits activity toward premium editions is the Paramount studio. We learned from this studio before Christmas 2022 that they are unwilling to approve any additional premium element for THE UNTOUCHABLES title. These were several cards and booklet. Not even the distributor was informed about this current position. We only found out when we were submitting our edition for approval. Since this attitude will be taken by the studio for future editions, we have suspended or canceled all our joint projects. We're still keeping THE UNTOUCHABLES title open in case the studio changes its mind, but we're not counting on it. We are already trying to see things more realistically as they are. 

 

Our cooperation continues with Warner Bros. and Universal studios, which so far have responded flexibly and there was a noticeable desire to do something together for collectors.

 

Studio SONY is unfortunately not represented in our territory. Many of you are encouraging us to take up this opportunity, but unfortunately, we currently do not have the capacity to guarantee this cooperation in any way.

 

And now we have some important news from our background. A couple of weeks ago, we promised you new merch, which we decided to delay for a while and give priority to a new project, which we will present to you soon, and we will give priority to existing regular customers/collectors to be part of its creation and future. With this new project, we will want to become more self-reliant and not be dependent on the will of other subjects who are not interested in bringing new elements and enriching the collector’s world. It will not only concern films and media, we want to have a somewhat wider and also global scope, which should also be a more attractive attraction for a wider group of customers and collectors, to whom we will offer our top products in attractive limitations. We will start gradually by introducing you to the first limited series, which will then be followed up and supplemented by others.

 

We are looking forward to new energy and, above all, a space where we will be able to exercise our creativity and desire to invent new premiums. At the same time, we are experienced and we know in which things we have great reserves and need correction. We mainly mean the long delays in delivery dates, which we will now be precise about because we will shorten and simplify the overall process while maintaining the same high quality as we have had so far. Delivery times will therefore now be calculated with much greater accuracy than was the case until now.

 

When we jump back to the film editions for a moment, it will also return to normal delivery times, but it will take longer, especially due to the large number of editions and their elements that were dealt with at the same time, it was never easy to coordinate reprints and corrections so that they fit in time. We tried to do it all the time, but the delays were getting longer due to other external factors as well.

 

In collector's film editions, we want to continue with selected titles after the completion of the current projects. As long as there is a taste and will of the studios."

 

 

Donc, toujours aucun deal avec Sony. Pas de problème avec Warner, pour cette raison que l'on a souvent des titres Warner en FAC ou Black Barons.

Je suis encore surpris que (collection ou pas ) l'on puisse s'obstiner à payer des revendeurs tels que ces charlatans , alors que leurs délais sont tout bonnement inacceptables. Je rejoins le camarade Vinny sur le point "Filmarena devrait avoir le respect & honnêteté, se dire "on peut pas sortir la FAC, on rembourse nos clients .... et on refait une préco lorsque l'on aura l'aval de Disney"  . C'est pour ca que j'ai arrêté de commandé chez eux. Déjà je n'aime pas leur format XXL, et leur politique d'ouvrir 15 précos en même temps pour ramasser un max d'argent et ensuite attendre des plombes pour recevoir une édition avec un steelbook WWA c'était plus possible.

J'imagine qu'ils proposent 1000ex car beaucoup rejettent leur éditions et qu'ils (j'espère) commencent a se dire que ce système de Collectible Number est totalement absurde.

Pour te dire les dates de mes dernieres préco payées :

- FAC Predator faite le 13 Octobre 2021 

- FAC BvS (2 editions, avec hardbox en gift), faite le 11 Août 2021

 

En 2022, j'ai rien chopé, la plupart des titres en FAC existaient deja en premium ou sans interet à mes yeux. Donc aucune ref quand au tarif des fdp ... 

et cette semaine, lorsque j'ai rejeté la plupart les éditions sauf la FAC Shawshank, en cliquant sur "Buy" t'as pas le choix ensuite tu dois payer, et là aie méga surprise sur le montant final et celui des Fdps.

Me suis dit en prenant cette FAC, suis sûr d'avoir l'édition mais clair que j'aurais preferé opter pour le Uhd Club.

par contre avec le Uhd Club, on double le prix et grosse probabilité de ne pas être sur la liste final du GB car seulement 100ex

 

Le prix des FACs a encore augmenté de 100 CZK et les fdps ont doublé ... donc c'etait deja le cas avant, mais maintenant y a aucun interet à acheter 1 seule FAC, et vu le prix de chaque FAC, on a pas trop envie d'en mettre 2 ou 3 dans le panier.

Dire qu'au début, une FAC coutait 50€ max et là c'est le double ! 

 

Savoir que Sony n'a jamais fait de partnership avec FA, ça soulève certaines questions. Car en plus de cela, ils arrêtent ensuite les titres de chez Paramount.

 

Il restera que Warner & Universal ... mais jusqu'à quand, bonne question ??!!!

sur les 5 titres en préco ces jours ci ... il y a seulement 1 titre à 1001ex , les 4 autres titres sont à 501 ex !

Donc sais pas du tout ce qu'ils pensent ... les editions seront tjs numérotées mais peut être retireront ils le collectible, pas sûr que cela incite les personnes à acheter !

we are currently dispatching the edition of A QUIET PLACE: Part II, which will most likely be the last edition from Paramount that we have prepared for you.

 

It's not that we don't want to continue with Paramount, but we received information from the studio through distribution that the only way forward is to accept for our next editions the same components that the studio prepares and approves for the whole world, which means that if we want to approve something extra like a booklet or cards, a folder, a lenticular, it won't be possible... Unfortunately, we can't comply with this strategy, because for several years we've been working in a way that we don't want to take away from, we've always tried to add instead. Care, quality, other components, etc.

 

Distribution and we have tried to discuss the arguments why the cooperation would continue to be worthwhile, but it was in vain so far.

 

Nevertheless, we decided to release visuals of the intended components of THE UNTOUCHABLES edition as we planned to make it for you. You never know how far visuals can go this way and what if by chance... We don't count on anything, but we never stop believing.

 

We originally assigned this edition to the Black Barons team, but after a failed approval, we visually previewed it as a FAC.

 

We do not send this post maliciously. It is not our intention to initiate hate speech, we want to express ourselves positively and calmly. We believe that this is the only way to break through this communication block. At the same time, we want to present that we worked with the best care with this edition, as you and the film deserve. Update .... dernier communiqué Filmarena , c'est toujours la merde !!! 

 

Dear Collectors,

 

thank you very much for your patience in the last months when we are facing great challenges together. The wait for information has been long, but careful consideration and discussion of our next steps has been a very strong internal theme in recent days. We are currently experiencing a delay due to the completion and distribution of the long-awaited PREDATOR exclusive title. It also took several weeks to move the warehouse. Now let's get to where we want to go next.

 

First, let's recap. In the second half of last year, we decided to resolve the situation regarding the long-awaited PREDATOR title in our own way. Thank you for the manner and understanding with which you accepted our proposed solution. There was no better solution in the given situation, which we can all see over time.

 

Now we have another tough challenge regarding discs for our editions. We needed time to thoroughly discuss individual solutions. For each edition, we always have pre-agreed conditions, which we consider unchangeable until the realization of our editions. Any change negatively affects the economy of editions and unfortunately, instead of finding the will for reasonable solutions, the demands become uncompromising. Although it may not seem like it, due to the individual delays that we encountered due to our strict quality requirements, we subsidized some editions from our own resources. We have therefore decided to release editions FAC 171 and beyond, with exceptions (we have purchased discs from an earlier time) without discs and not to give in to any pressure. The decision also applies to BLACK BARONS editions. We are currently finishing FAC #171 of GODZILLA in KONG and will then move on to sending out issues 167-171 which some are still waiting for. Then we will complete the next editions in order. If sooner or later we manage to get a certain amount of discs, we will put them in editions intended for free sale on the e-shop, but please expect that these editions will be more expensive. Updated release dates will gradually appear on the e-shop.

 

Due to our fifteen years of experience, we have agreed that we will no longer accept the new demands and pressure placed on us, we will continue to publish the planned editions, but at the same time we will put our energy into the projects that are offered thanks to our experience in the field of collector's editions. We will introduce you to these in further information emails. Collectors who invest in the FAC brand and BB products in a timely manner gain very interesting added value as well as appreciation. We believe that we are able to offer even better values with products that will not be subject to demanding approval processes, will be ours and we will be able to decide freely and independently about their development. We will continue to sell products created by us or previously purchased until they are sold out.

 

In our FAC and BB plans, ie. FAC #186 + and BB #33 + we have attractive limits that we will create mainly for our loyal customers. These are editions that we have arranged and prepared from an earlier time and we have not presented them yet. We estimate that those who follow us to the end of the FAC and BB series will receive even more interesting gems. In addition to these, we want to offer you the opportunity to expand your collection with a new series of very attractive pieces, which we are now preparing so that we can present our plan to you soon. We will hint that the focus will not be cinematic, but still attractive enough to attract the collecting public.

 

Please expect an update on the release dates for individual titles soon. We currently need to reprint some elements to bring them up to date.

ça faisait une éternité que je n'avais pas été sur le site de FA .... donc j'ai été voir .... je viens pas pour parler des délais, retards .....

 

en general, le prix des FAC c'est 1800 CZK , maintenant que les éditions sont sold out , les prix montent à environ 3500 CZK , ça fait 150 Euros. 

 

je ne pige pas pourquoi tous les tarifs sont si haut par la suite !
